Size of the floor

The slots page counts 1,665 slot machines, with 815 on the smoke-free main floor and 850 in the Embers smoking area.³ River Cree has a $25 slot section in Embers, described as the only one in Alberta.³ The table games page lists 40 tables: 15 on the main floor, 11 in the high-limit area and 14 in Embers.⁴

What you can play

Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen here is described as the first Hell's Kitchen in Canada.⁶ Tap 25 is a sports bar located in the main casino.⁷ The Kitchen is a full-service restaurant with a buffet service.⁸ Onyx is a lounge inside the Embers smoking area and is an 18+ outlet.⁹

Hotel

The hotel has 249 guest rooms including 11 luxury suites, a pool, a whirlpool and a fitness centre.¹⁰ Parking is complimentary for hotel guests.¹⁰

Shows and events

The Venue holds between 500 and 2,500 depending on the setup, and River Cree shows are 18+.¹¹ The Entertainment Centre is 18,000 sq ft, and the resort has over 40,000 sq ft of pillar-free event space.¹²

Getting there

The resort is about 5 minutes from West Edmonton Mall and 20 minutes from Edmonton International Airport.¹⁰ A complimentary shuttle runs between the resort and West Edmonton Mall for guests and associates.¹³

At the door

Minors are not allowed on the gaming floor; patrons who look under 30 are ID'd, and shoes and shirts are required.¹⁴ Since 29 July 2024 minors are allowed in non-gaming areas such as restaurants, the hockey rinks and community events.¹⁵

Rewards programme
